Invacare offers a broad range of drive options including front-, center- and rear-wheel drive. Invacare claims an unrivaled commitment to extensive research and continuous improvement. However, we were surprised to find that the Invacare Pronto M41 is a bit lacking when it comes to the specifications it boasts. First and foremost, the Invacare Pronto M41 is quite heavy, coming in at a total weight of 161 pounds (73 kilograms) with battery. Because of it's heavy weight, you will need to purchase and install a lift on your car in order to transport the Invacare Pronto M41 long distances. That is heavy, but it makes sense since it is rated to carry passengers weighing up to 300 pounds (136.1 kilograms). The one and only specification that is up to par is the turning radius at 19.5 inches (49.5 centimeters.) which can make it acceptable to maneuver in tight areas, such as inside your home or in a supermarket, etc. For the price tag of $2499 though, there are definitely more cost effective and practical devices out there than the Invacare Pronto M41 in our opinion. Let's see how it stacks up against the EZ Lite Cruiser Standard and HD Heavy Duty Models:
