    Standard Model - Replacing Joystick Cable - External / Female

    This video shows how to replace the Joystick Cable that plugs into the CPU and splices off to the battery. If this cable becomes damaged or crimped over time, the joystick may experience failure communicating with the CPU and the only way to restore communication is to replace the cable.     All Models - Replacing Joystick Button Pad with Heat Gun

    This video shows how to Replace the Joystick Button Pad using a heat gun to remove the old adhesive left over after peeling away the old button pad. Over time, and with constant and firm pushing, the button pad can become worn to the point where buttons fall off. But do not worry, you don't need to replace the entire Joystick -- all you need is a new button pad to get it back to new.

    All Models - Replacing the Internal (Male) Joystick Cable

    This video shows how to replace the Internal (Male) Joystick Cable, which makes up one half of the quick disconnection connector, a feature of the joystick. The pins in this cable are sensitive and if you don't use the quick disconnect feature correctly, you can cause damage to this connector, and the cable would need to be replaced. This requires opening the joystick, and should only be done by a skilled person, such as a technician, or someone with electrical and mechanical experience.

    Standard Model - Replacing the CPU - 1st Generation

    This video shows how to replace the CPU on the EZ Lite Cruiser 1st Generation Standard Model. Simply disconnect the joystick and motor plugs, and use two simple tools - a wrench, or pliers or vice grips and a screwdriver, to remove the bolts, then you can easily remove the CPU from the frame, to attach a new one. The only time you would do this is if there is a failure with the original CPU on your chair, which is not very common, but it does happen ocassionally.
