The Drive Medical Wildcat 18-B Folding Power Wheelchair is not much different than many similar power electric wheelchairs on the market today. It actually appears to be similar to a manual wheelchair that has been converted to an electric (powered) wheelchair. The Drive Medical Wildcat 18-B Folding Power Wheelchair boasts a few features such as an adjustable length controller which can be mounted on either the left or right side, a foot rest that can be flipped up, and a folding back rest, among other standard features commonly found on similar wheelchairs. Wildcat 18-B Folding Power Wheelchair is one of the lighter electric wheelchairs in Drive Medical's range of products, weighing in at 140 pounds (63.5 kilograms) with the battery, however, it is still quite heavy. With this heavy of a weight, the fact that it folds up really makes not much of a difference, because you will still need to purchase and install some sort of lift on your car or SUV to be able to transport it long distances. We would also like to point out that it has a large turning radius at 32 inches (81.3 centimeters), which can make it inconvenient for use indoors, as you will need a lot of space to make turns. If you require something that can handle indoor areas with ease, you should consider one with a smaller turning radius. Let's see how it stacks up against the EZ Lite Cruiser Standard and HD Heavy Duty Models:
